Only a few hours to go until SGA gymnasts Megan, Damien and Joseph set off to make their way to Portugal.

Everybody at the club is incredibly proud of you all and how far you have come since you started as minis at the club.

The gymnasts commitment to the club over the the last twelve years has been outstanding. Surrounding yourself with the right people and belief in yourself has kept you on track and your success comes from your dedication, determination, patience, practice and positivity. Such an inspiration and fantastic roll models for the younger members of the SGA family.

It has been a pleasure to watch you all grow up and achieve such great things over the years. Big thanks to the fantastic coaching team and families who have supported you all the way. SGA would like to thank Rod Champion and James Eddon from Abbey Gas for their kind donation to SGA. The donation will help towards SGA’s Team GB Squad members who will be competing in the 12th European Teamgym Championships in Lisbon.

New Items available including a boys SGA training top *Please note the new boys top design may differ from the one pictured.  Items are available to try on in the gym.  Closing date Saturday 13th October.

The gym will be very busy tonight especially between 4-5pm as we have a new class starting. As parking is very limited it is a good idea to park a little walk away from the gym to avoid congestion. If you are parking at SGA please ensure you observe the following:

Do not block any of the entrance / exits to properties on Barrys Lane

Do not obstruct the view for other vehicles, pedestrians & cyclists.

Do not obstruct the path for emergency vehicles and any of the larger vehicles who use Barrys Lane.

Do not park in or obstruct any of the designated coaches parking spaces.

To help resolve the flow of traffic on Barry’s Lane please try to park a little walk away from SGA and walk to / from the club with your child.

Ensure you supervise your child into the SGA premises and collect from the gym after their session.  No children will be allowed into the car park alone.

Please ensure you park safely and considerately 🙂

Important notice for current members if British Gymnastics – Don’t worry if you haven’t received your renewal email yet. Your child will still be covered and able to attend classes. Once you receive your email just follow the instructions to renew ASAP. 🙂🤸🏼‍♂️🤸🏾‍♀️🙂

Need to renew?

This year, members who are due to renew their membership will receive an email from British Gymnastics, inviting them to renew via their online account. Please wait for this email to arrive to your inbox (also check your spam/junk mail, just in case). We are staggering the invites to help manage the demand. If you celebrated your 18th birthday since 1st October 2017 and you didn’t set up your membership account yourself last time, you’ll now need to create your own membership account, and join as if for the first time. If this applies to you, please read the information below and follow the link.

Joining for the first time?

Your club will let you know when it’s the right time to join us as they first need to complete their club membership. If your club has told you they are ready, you can now join and set up your account by following this link.

For Clubs
Clubs can now renew their membership for the 2018-19 membership year. We have sent email notifications to Club Secretaries to explain the process and guide clubs through the steps. (Only Club Secretaries can administer club memberships and select any preferred options by logging into GymNET).

All classes resume from Monday 3rd September except the Pre School and Newby School Classes which start back from week commencing 10th September. Unfortunately all SGA’s classes are now fully booked. If you didn’t get your child’s booking in by the due date you can re register your child via the website waiting list section and we will let you know once a place is available.

SGA has been closed for the summer break so apologies in advance for any delays in responding to enquiries. We will do our best to respond to any enquiries as soon as possible.
