Booking is now open for the SGA Summer Holiday Gymnastics Camps 2021.

We have lots of fun activities planned for the summer holidays for all ages groups and abilities. The SGA camps are open to both members and non members. ☀️🤸🏾‍♀️☀️🤸🏾‍♀️

We have limited spaces available on each camp so book early to avoid disappointment.

Class Cancellation

Hi everyone, really sorry to let you know but we are having to cancel this weeks sessions (18th to 21st March) as a number of the coaches have had to self isolate due to their medical conditions. So sorry to let everyone down but obviously we want to ensure we take responsible action to protect everyone at SGA. We will have more updates very soon the rest of this terms classes. Hope everyone takes care and once everything is back to normal we will make it up to everyone with some super fun replacement sessions. 🤸🏼‍♂️🤸🏼‍♂️🤸🏼‍♂️🤸🏼‍♂️🤸🏼‍♂️

Even if we’re are not at gym the coaches are going to be working super hard in the background on searching for grants for new equipment, planning, and creating home gym, stretching, conditioning and fun activities and challenges gymnasts can do at home to keep them going. If any parent or gymnast has any good ideas please let us know. 🤸🏼‍♂️🤸‍♀️🤸🏼‍♂️🤸‍♀️🤸🏼‍♂️

SGA Bounceathon 2020

SGA’s Sponsored Bounceathon 2020 will be taking place in your child’s usual class starting from Mon 16th March. We are looking forwards to everyone being involved in this fun fundraising event. There is still time to to get collecting those sponsors to help the development of your club. In case your child hasn’t brought their sponsor letter home you have been emailed all the info.

Gymnasts will participate in a fun session with a circuit of bouncing and gymnastic activities in order to keep the group bouncing and for at least 30 minutes (15 minutes for Pre School Gymnasts). We are hoping to cover at least 260 miles (10 Marathons) throughout the week! 🤸🏼‍♂️

Run the Brunswick

Would be great to see some of SGA’s Gymnasts involved in this fantastic fundraising event.
The Brunswick Shopping Centre & ChrisFit Gym & Studio present to you;
‘A GREAT DAY’, Kindly sponsored by SikSilk.
– We’re organising two fun runs for kids (up to age 11) at 10am and 2pm on Saturday 29th February 2020. This is your one and only chance to run around the Brunswick Shopping Centre! Just a small donation is required to enter and you’ll receive a limited edition tshirt. Register your kids by messaging or phoning ChrisFit Gym & Studio ASAP as spaces are limited. (01723 366559)
– We will also be running two treadmills constantly all day in the centre of the Brunswick. A team of runners is hoping to run 100 miles in this time and will be looking for any donations to help motivate them to the finish line. If you’d like to run with them, please contact ChrisFit Gym & Studio by phone or message.
– To top things off, SikSilk will be holding their BIGGEST EVER sample sale in the old Argos unit inside the Brunswick Shopping Centre from 9am-5.30pm. SikSilk will be sponsoring the whole event and a percentage of their sample sale will be donated to Saint Catherine’s Hospice.
– All money raised on the day will be donated to Saint Catherine’s Scarborough, a local charity with an amazing cause.

Proficiency Award Testing

British Gymnastics Proficiency Award testing will take place in the recreational classes this week (Wed 5th to Sat 8th Feb) Don’t worry if your child is absent we will test them the following week.  If your child is working on an advanced award this may take a little longer to work towards completing.  

If you could bring a note of the badges your child has passed that would be very helpful, especially if they have attended holiday camps and taken extra awards not in their usual class.

If your child is taking award 1 there is an additional charge of £3.75 for the medal, please forward this in cash.  Many Thanks

REGISTRATION FROM 6.50PM – Call in to the gym for a registration form before the session starts or email info@scarboroughgymnastics.co.uk to register your interest and receive a copy by email.  If you are completing the form on the day please arrive early so you don’t miss the warm up.
