The SGA Teamgym Squads / coaching / judging / team are participating in the Northern Teamgym Championships in Edinburgh. There are no classes on Fri 28th Feb and Sat 1st March. Don’t forget to send any Sainsburys Active Kids Vouchers in to SGA! The more vouchers we collect = more new equipment for everyone!! 🙂

All gymnasts to wear full kit and competition hair and arrive dressed ready to warm up. If any parents would like to come and watch please arrive at 7pm, unfortunately we don’t have any seating available so this would just be on the mats Etc. After the practice competition coaches will need to feedback to the teams and make changes if necessary so parents are welcome to have a cuppa in the waiting area whilst the teams finish their session. 🙂

Just a reminder that there are no classes during half term except for the teams competing in Edinburgh. The gym is also closed on Fri 28th Feb and Sat 1st March due to this competition. 🙂

The whole event is looking likely to finish around 7pm! First warm up will be at 8.30am with registration at 8.15am. All Level 4 / Regional level teams (prim mix and jun Girls) will possibly compete first. Presentations will be held once teams competing at that level have completed their rounds. The level 4 / regional comp will then followed by all national teams (prim boys / prim girls / jun girls) which is looking likely to finish at approx 7pm. The times will be comfirmed once the schedule has been completed but this is just an update of info and is not definite!!! More info soon! 🙂

Please could you issue the ticket application form for North Region Clubs so that they may distribute the form to any spectators who wish to have their tickets in advance of the event.
There is a closing date of 14th February to ensure that the tickets are sent out in plenty of time prior to the competition itself.
Prices have been frozen at £10 and £5.
The form is also on the Scottish Gymnastics website but I thought I would send the form to Clubs as some groups found it helpful to be able to hand out the form to those wishing to purchase tickets.
People are reminded to arrive wearing their wristbands to make access to the seating area much quicker. Anyone not arriving with their ticket will be required to pay again in order to spectate. There will be NO exceptions.

Northern Team Gym Championships 2014 – Just a reminder not to make any arrangements regarding travel / accommodation before all entries are finalised this week! Just in case of any gymnasts been unable to participate and there not been enough participants to make a team as there are now various teams / age groups at a number of different levels. New classes and Available Places at SGA for Jan 2014 – Updated Class List for Remaining Vacancies.

We have a limited number of places available at Scarborough Gymnastics Academy for the new term, starting from week commencing Jan 6th 2014. If you would like to book a place for your child please complete the attached booking form and return before the closing date on 2nd January 2014. As some classes have a waiting list or if the class times / days below are not suitable or you still wish to retain your child’s place on the waiting list for a future term please email to confirm this. Please note: All places must be booked & paid for in advance by the due date (2nd Jan), please complete & return the attached booking form. Some classes have very limited places available and will be offered on a first come first served basis.

If you would like any further information or have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us. Over the Christmas holiday break (from 21st Dec) we may be unable to respond to your email due to staff annual leave. We will do our best to respond asap once classes resume from Jan 6th.

If you would like to pay direct into the SGA account, please email for instructions. Alternativley if you would like to pay by pay pal there will be a small charge. Email to request a Pay pal invoice. If you do pay in this way please forward the booking form and cheque to british gymnastics at the start of your childs first class or post before. Important! – Please do not include British Gymnastics membership in online payments as this has to be a cheque payment direct to BAGA.
