Happy 16th Birthday to SGA
16 years ago today SGA began its very first gymnastics classes at Scalby School with around 17 gymnasts attending. The club has come a long way since the early days and everyone has had lots of fun along the way.
We would like to say a big thankyou to the many volunteers and generous donations that have helped the clubs development over the years and made the move to the dedicated gymnastics facility possible where the gym continues to evolve.
SGA now has over 400 members who enjoy weekly Gymnastics sessions, has received a number of British Championship titles and had gymnasts representing GB in the European Championships all of which everyone is extremely proud of.
May the club continue to grow and inspire members of the local community to become involved in the amazing sport of Gymnastics. 🤸🏾♀️🤸🏼♂️🎉1️⃣6️⃣🎉🤸🏼♂️🤸🏾♀️
Wishing Everyone a Happy Easter

Reminder there is no Pre School Gymnastics today.
Twinkles Pre School sessions resume after the Easter holidays on Mon 16th April. If you have not returned or received your booking form for next term they are available to download from the SGA website. Wishing everyone a lovely Easter break. 🙂

Congratulations to SGA’s new Core Proficiency Coaches.
SGA’s fantastic achievements continue this weekend, with the great news that nine of the clubs aspiring coaches have completed their first gymnastics coaching qualification on the BAGA coaching pathway. We would would like to congratulate each and every one of the coaches for this accomplishment.
The course will qualify the coaches to teach the BAGA Core Proficiency Scheme within a club.
The course helped develop the young coaches supporting techniques, the development of new skills and worked on dynamic pulse raising, strength and flexibility exercises.
The club is extremely proud of all the new coaches. Well done and keep up the hard work 🤸♂️😄
