SGA Easter Holiday Gymnastics Camps 2020

We have a few remaining places on some of the Easter Holiday camps and we are operating a waiting list for the fully booked camps. For further details please see below:

Run the Brunswick

Would be great to see some of SGA’s Gymnasts involved in this fantastic fundraising event.
The Brunswick Shopping Centre & ChrisFit Gym & Studio present to you;
‘A GREAT DAY’, Kindly sponsored by SikSilk.
– We’re organising two fun runs for kids (up to age 11) at 10am and 2pm on Saturday 29th February 2020. This is your one and only chance to run around the Brunswick Shopping Centre! Just a small donation is required to enter and you’ll receive a limited edition tshirt. Register your kids by messaging or phoning ChrisFit Gym & Studio ASAP as spaces are limited. (01723 366559)
– We will also be running two treadmills constantly all day in the centre of the Brunswick. A team of runners is hoping to run 100 miles in this time and will be looking for any donations to help motivate them to the finish line. If you’d like to run with them, please contact ChrisFit Gym & Studio by phone or message.
– To top things off, SikSilk will be holding their BIGGEST EVER sample sale in the old Argos unit inside the Brunswick Shopping Centre from 9am-5.30pm. SikSilk will be sponsoring the whole event and a percentage of their sample sale will be donated to Saint Catherine’s Hospice.
– All money raised on the day will be donated to Saint Catherine’s Scarborough, a local charity with an amazing cause.

Proficiency Award Testing

British Gymnastics Proficiency Award testing will take place in the recreational classes this week (Wed 5th to Sat 8th Feb) Don’t worry if your child is absent we will test them the following week.  If your child is working on an advanced award this may take a little longer to work towards completing.  

If you could bring a note of the badges your child has passed that would be very helpful, especially if they have attended holiday camps and taken extra awards not in their usual class.

If your child is taking award 1 there is an additional charge of £3.75 for the medal, please forward this in cash.  Many Thanks

Adult Gymnastics is Back at SGA

Interested?  Pop to SGA on Thursday 9th January and see what its all about.

REGISTRATION FROM 6.50PM – Call in to the gym for a registration form before the session starts or email info@scarboroughgymnastics.co.uk to register your interest and receive a copy by email.  If you are completing the form on the day please arrive early so you don’t miss the warm up.

Saturday Classes Final Display Practice and time changes – Sat 30th Nov.

Please Arrive 5 mins before start of session.

9-10am – Shooting Stars & Gym Stars 2

10.15-11am – Gym Stars 1

11am-12pm – Gym Stars 3 & All Stars

11.30am-1pm – Mini Development 2 & Junior Development

Reminder: normal sessions do not run during display weeks.

Urgent – British Gymnastics Membership 2019-2020

Urgent! – All SGA members should have now joined British Gymnastics for the first time or renewed their membership. This was due to be completed by 1st October to ensure memberships do not lapse. If you have not registered your child please do this today using the following link – https://www.british-gymnastics.org/renewal-options
British gymnastics membership is not optional and unfortunately gymnasts without membership will not be permitted to participate in any further sessions until the membership is current.
