There is a Final Display Practice for all Saturday groups & the Monday Entry Squad who will also be performing in the Saturday Display.  The class times are different on Sat 5th December & are as follows.

9am – 10am – Shooting Stars (Usual Class Time 9-9.45am) & Gym Stars 1 (Usual Class Time – 9.45-10.30am)

10.15- 11.15am – Gym Stars 2 (Usual Class Time 10.30-11.30) & Mini Entry Squad (Usual Class Time – Mondays 4-5.30pm)

11.30am – 12.30pm – Gym Stars 3 (Usual Class Time 11.30am – 12.30pm) & All Stars (Usual Class Time – 12-1pm)

Also just a reminder that If you have not yet bought display tickets, these must be purchased prior to the displays & entry to the displays will be on a register system, not actual tickets.

Congratulations to the three teams from SGA who competed in the International Cup in Gran Canaria yesterday.  The teams performed brilliantly, winning Gold in the Junior Women’s Category, Gold in the Youth Micro Girls event and Silver in the Youth Mixed Micro event.  The gymnasts enjoyed the competitive experience and everyone was rewarded for their hard work in the run up to the competition.  Big thanks to the coaches (Nikii, Kadie, Hannah, Evy and Cathy), Megan SGAs judge, Gemma SGA’s a Welfare Officer, Mieka and Nina our competition helpers and to all the parents and supporters for their ongoing commitment and support of the gymnasts.  Everyone is proud of the teams achievements and looking forwards to getting back to the gym to learn some new skills. 😀

The next event for the team and display gymnasts is the Gran Canaria Blume festival opening ceremony tomorrow which everyone is excited to take part in.☀️

SGA would like to say a big thank you to UPM Raflatac Scarborough for sponsoring new team kit for Scarborough Gymnastics Academy’s teamgym squad. The gymnasts will be representing the club, competing in the International Teamgym Cup and taking part in the Blume gymnastics festival in Gran canaria. Everybody is really excited! 😄

Reminder that all Christmas Display Participation Forms, Ticket Orders & any Tombola Donations were due in before Sat 21st November.  The gym is open tonight until 8pm (Tue 24th) for any last minute forms etc to be brought in.  Many Thanks 🙂

Due to the SGA competing in the International Cup in Gran Canaria, SGA will close at 8pm on Tuesday 24th November and reopen at 3.45pm on Friday 4^th December.  There will be a Newby School Early Bird Class on Wed 25th November but not on Wed 2nd Dec.

The closing date for fees was Sat 21st Nov.  If you have not yet paid your child’s Fees for next term SGA will be open to make payments from 3.45-8pm tonight (Tuesday 24th Nov).  SGA will then close from 8pm tonight and reopen at 3.45 on Friday 4th Dec.

Important! Priority booking is for current members only.  After this date booking will be open to members on the waiting list.  There are now over 150 gymnasts on the waiting list.  Don’t lose your child’s place.

The final gym kit order of the year will be finalised tomorrow (Tue 17th Nov).  If anyone would like to order any last minute items please complete and email the attached order form (or post through SGA’s door) before 10am tomorrow (Tue).  Please ensure payment is processed by BACS before the order is sent in.  Alternatively the gym will be open to place orders tonight (Mon) until 8.30pm and tomorrow from 9.15-10am.
