The SGA Family Fun Day was a massive success, raising a fantastic £373.90 (and still counting!) This will be a great help for the teams who are competing in Gran Canaria and Bracknell!

Over 180 people walked through the doors with 55 gymnasts participating in the Apparatus Fun session and 58 in the Bounce session! A total of 75 gymnasts taking part overall, many of these children being new to the club! Thanks to everyone who came!

Thank you to the gymnasts who put on a fantastic display and to all the parent / family and coach volunteers who helped run the sessions and man the stalls! Also a massive thank you to everyone who donated cakes and prizes! The raffle will be drawn next week and numbers will be published on the website and Facebook!

Any new members wanting to attend SGA on a regular basis who didnt complete the waiting list form just email to let us know as we will be looking at allocating spaces shortly!

Thanks again to everyone and we will keep you all updated with a fundraising total and raffle numbers! 🙂

The SGA family fun day has been officially registered as a community games event! Inspired by London 2012? Then our Fun day is for you! Come and try out SGA’s fantastic equipment!! The first 50 participants will receive an official Community Games participation certificate! For more info on the community games visit: http://www.communitygames.org.uk/

Just to mention that on the day the SGA car park and Barry’s Lane may get a bit congested so you may be better parking close by and walking to the venue!

Fun 30 minute Gymnastic Taster Sessions giving gymnasts the opportunity to try out the fantastic equipment at SGA’s specialist gymnastics facility.

Try one or both sessions! Sessions for Age 4+

Session One 1-1.30pm (Register from 12.45pm – Apparatus Fun -Try out the big equipment including the bars, beam, floor and vault @ £2.

Session Two 2-2.30pm – Register from 1.45pm – Bounce – Have lots of bouncing fun on the Trampoline, Airtrack, Trampette, Tumble Track & Double Mini Trampoline @ £2.

Apparatus used will depend upon session numbers, and age. At the end of the sessions there will also be an opportunity to book a place for your child at SGA (limited spaces available!)

Once we have received your information we will forward a Paypal invoice to your email! Please note: There will be an administration charge for all Paypal Payments.

SGA Adult class for Age 16+

Thursdays 7-8.15pm Starting back tonight (5th Sept) Registration before the session from 6.50pm.

Improve your physical fitness and flexibility whilst having FUN!! The class is aimed at all levels from complete beginners to the more advanced, learn new skills or improve existing gymnastics skills! Work at your own pace!

Our adult classes start with a structured warm up, stretching, followed by floor basics and maybe a little body conditioning if you want to join in! This is then followed by free time to pursue your own individual goals on the apparatus! Coaches are also on hand to provide advice and support whenever required. Whatever your level of experience or fitness, adult gymnastics is fun, good exercise and a great way to try out new things!

Classes are on a weekly pay & go basis @ £5 per session, however after the first 2 weeks there is a charge for British Gymnastics Membership which is £17 per year.
