If you have not paid your Childs Annual British Gymnastics Membership Reregistration which was due before Sept 24th please follow urgent instructions below.

Unfortunately as of Saturday October 1st if the new orange form & membership payment are not received before the start of your child’s next session, unregistered gymnasts will be unable to participate in any further sessions until membership is processed.

The costs membership fees for 2016 / 2017 will be as follows:

Bronze Membership – £17

Pre School Membership – £11

Silver Competitive Membership – £41

Instructions: Please complete the orange registration form which your child should have brought home and return with your childs Annual BAGA membership payment cheque clipped to the top of the form. It is important that we receive this years completed registration form from all members even if you have filled one out in the past.

Cheque’s are payable to “BAGA” please write your child’s name, DOB, address and postcode on the reverse & hand in at SGA or place in the registration form post box in the waiting area.

SGA will be open on Sat 1st October 9am – 1pm for any payments or payments should be made at the start of your child’s next session during the week of 3rd – 8th Oct.

FIRSTLY INFORM THE CLUB  BY EMAIL OR TEXT TO CONFIRM YOU WOULD LIKE TO PAY DIRECT.  THE CLUB WILL NEED TO ENSURE YOUR CHILD IS REGISTERED AND ADD THEM INTO THE CLUB BASKET BEFORE YOU CAN PAY.

1. Go  to  http://www.british-gymnastics.org/

2. Click  on  GymNet  Login  at  the  top  left  of  the  Home  page

3. On  the  GymNet Login  page  enter  you  Membership  Number  and  your  password  if  you  have   one.    If  you  do  not  have  a  password,  please  click  the  link  and  a  password  will  be  e-­‐mailed  to   you.    Please  note  if  you  have  registered  with  BG  before,  you  will  need  to  use  the  same  e-­‐mail   address  that  you  registered  with.    Please  also  note  that  the  Image  Verification  needs  to  be  in   capital  letters

4. Once  you  have  received  your  e-­‐mail,  copy  and  paste  the  password  into  the  GymNet  login   page  and  click  Login.    Once  you  are  logged  in  you  can  change  your  password  by  clicking  the   Change  Password  option  towards  the  bottom  of  the  menu  list  on  the  left

5. Click  on  My  Shopping  basket  in  the  left  hand  menu,  check  that  the  membership  level  is   correct  and  then  select  Proceed  to  Checkout  and  follow  the  instructions  for  payment

6. Once  your  payment  has  been  verified  you  will  receive  a  receipt  by  e-­‐mail  and  the  club  will  be   notified  that  your  payment  has  been  made.     If  you  need  any  assistance  with  payment,  please  contact  Membership  Services  on  0845  129  7129   ext.2395

Adult Gymnastics – Open Sessions – Thursday’s 7-8pm. New members welcome!

Adult classes are held at SGA on a Thursday from 7-8pm. The session is now running alongside another class so Adults are welcome to join in the group warm up and the apparatus set ups the class is using or alternatively use the rest of the equipment as an open style / self led session.  Coaches are always on hand if you should require help with set ups / skills or with any warm up / conditioning / stretching ideas. The class is suitable for all and the open session suitable for participants with some gymnastics / fitness / background.

Classes are charged at a drop in rate of £6.00 per session for the first two sessions.  There is also an annual payment of £17 to British Gymnastics which is required and payable at the start of week 3.  Alternatively if you only plan to attend occasionally after week 2 members can pay a £7.50 class fee which includes the British Gymnastics Membership.

If you would like to join, just turn up ten minutes before the session so we can register you. There is also a bit of info about the session below.

PARTICIPATION FOR ALL Ages from Age 16+

REGISTRATION FROM 6.50PM – New Members Pop into the gym for a registration form before the session starts.

Whether you want to dust off the cobwebs from your last school gymnastics lesson, are an ex-competition level gymnast or from another area of sport, dance, fitness and just want to work on your skills the SGA open class is for you! This class is open for everyone from the experienced beginner to the more advanced adult gymnast and there are no age restrictions as long as you are over 16, new faces are always welcome. SGA provides a safe, friendly environment with professional coaches who are available for any tips / feedback / support throughout the session. The session is ideal to learn new skills or improve existing skills at your own pace! Improve your physical fitness, strength & flexibility whilst having FUN! The session is fully self led so after an initial warm up and stretch, participants are free to use the fantastic equipment to pursue your own goals or work on the apparatus set ups the groups are using which runs alongside the adult class.

Whatever your level of experience or fitness, adult gym is fun, good exercise and a great way to challenge yourself. Learning how to flip, swing, and come as close to self powered flight is a blast! Interested? Pop to SGA on Thursday and see what its all about!

SGA has nearly reached its fundraising target for phase one of the clubs flying high project!! 🙌🎉
The means the first new piece of apparatus the club will be able to purchase will be a Fast Acro track – (Long Trampoline) along with a new generation pit mat landing zone.

The track is a very effective training aid and helps with learning the technical aspects of acrobatics. Intermediate stage between trampolining and tumbling, facilitates a training system focusing on rebound. This will open up new opportunities for current and future members of the club, helping the development of everybody using the equipment.
The club is hoping to complete phase one fundraising target within the next few months. This means we should hopefully see the gymnasts using the equipment before Christmas. 👍😄 Huge Thanks to everybody who has contributed to the project so far. 😄
